Google Calendar Integration for NexoCRM
Yes — NexoCRM syncs with Google Calendar. NexoCRM offers two-way sync between your CRM meetings and your Google Calendar. A meeting you schedule in NexoCRM shows up on your Google Calendar; an event on your Google Calendar is imported as a CRM meeting. Edits, reschedules, and deletions flow both ways, automatically. You choose which calendar to sync, the direction, and whether tasks with a due date appear as all-day events — and you can disconnect at any time and keep your data.

Does NexoCRM sync two ways with Google Calendar?
Yes, on the Business plan. Here's how sync availability works by plan, so there are no surprises:
- Free: Google Calendar sync is not included.
- Pro: one-way sync — your CRM meetings are pushed to Google Calendar.
- Business: full two-way sync — CRM ⇄ Google Calendar, plus optional one-way task sync.
How do I connect my Google Calendar to NexoCRM?
- Open Calendar Sync in your NexoCRM dashboard.
- Click "Connect Google Calendar" and sign in with your Google account.
- Keep both calendar permissions checked and approve.
- Pick which calendar to sync and your sync direction.
- NexoCRM imports your events and keeps them in sync automatically.
What data does NexoCRM access in my Google account?
NexoCRM requests the minimum access needed for calendar sync — nothing more. Here is exactly what each permission covers and why it's required:
See and edit events on your calendars
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events
What we read: Event title, time, location, description, and attendees on your selected calendar — so they appear as CRM meetings.
What we write: Your CRM meetings (and, if enabled, tasks with a due date) as events on that calendar, including reschedules and deletions.
Why it's needed: Two-way sync is the entire feature: keeping CRM meetings and Google Calendar in step requires both reading events and writing them back.
Why a narrower scope isn't enough: A read-only calendar scope cannot create, update, or delete events, so it would make the CRM→Google half of the sync impossible. calendar.events is the narrowest scope that still permits editing events; the broader "calendar" scope (which also manages calendar settings and sharing) is deliberately NOT requested.
See the list of calendars you are subscribed to
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.calendarlist.readonly
What we read: The names and ids of the calendars in your account — only so you can pick which one to sync.
What we write: Nothing. This scope is read-only.
Why it's needed: Users need to choose which calendar syncs; that requires listing their calendars.
Why a narrower scope isn't enough: This is already the read-only variant. The writable calendarlist scope (which can add/remove calendar subscriptions) is deliberately NOT requested.
What NexoCRM does NOT do
- No Gmail, Drive, or Contacts access — calendar only.
- We never sell or share your Google data, and never use it for advertising or ad retargeting.
- No human reads your calendar content, except audited support access when you ask us for help.
- Your Google data is used only to power the calendar-sync features you see in the app.
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Can I disconnect and keep my data?
Yes. Disconnecting revokes NexoCRM's access at Google and deletes your stored tokens immediately. You're asked whether to keep the meetings already imported from Google — the default is to keep them. We never delete your CRM data without an explicit choice. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Does it work with Google Workspace?
Yes — NexoCRM works with both personal Google accounts and Google Workspace accounts. You pick which of your calendars to sync.
How often does it sync?
In near-real-time. NexoCRM uses Google's push notifications to pick up changes within seconds, with a periodic safety pull so nothing is ever missed.
People also ask
Will NexoCRM create duplicate events on my calendar?
No. NexoCRM tracks which CRM meeting maps to which Google event and only writes real changes, so it won't duplicate events or create an echo loop.
What happens if I edit the same meeting in both places?
The most recent edit wins, and the change that lost is recorded so it's recoverable — nothing is silently dropped.
Can I sync only some of my calendars?
You sync one calendar per connection and can change which one at any time.
Does NexoCRM sync my CRM tasks to Google Calendar?
Optionally. Tasks with a due date can appear as all-day events on Google Calendar. This is one-way (CRM → Google) and off by default.
